DEFRA (the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) has been running a series of engagement studies and a survey on UK Government plans for a Fishing and Coastal Growth Fund (FCGF).
The fund will invest £360m over the next 12 years to support the next generation of fishers and breathe new life into coastal communities.
These engagement activities, including the survey, are intended for stakeholders based in England. These include webinars where stakeholders will have opportunity to contribute feedback on potential funding priorities and how the FCGF could operate in practice.
There are two sessions left – one December 10th and December 16th), each covering the same content and hosted online via Microsoft Teams.
In addition, you can take part in a survey, particularly if you are unable to attend one of the webinars. Your views will help DEFRA shape how the FCGF is delivered.
The survey will take around 15 minutes to complete and can be accessed HERE.
