An ATA branded initiative to encourage engagement with the sport of angling, the TAFF concept provides the opportunity for existing anglers to take a friend fishing on their licence during certain designated times of the year. A simple registration process is all that is required and you can potentially recruit someone into the sport.

A hugely popular ATA branded scheme to get people to try fishing for the first time and engage them in the sport, going forward. National Fishing Month is run in conjunction with our delivery partner Angling Trust and supported by the Environment Agency and the Canal & River Trust. Qualified coaches host hundreds of sessions across the country during the summer (August 1st to 31st this year) to unearth the next generation of anglers.

The Angling Trust is the representative body for game, coarse and sea anglers in England and Wales.

The Environment Agency work to create better places for people and wildlife, and support sustainable development.

At the Angling Trust, they continue to increase the number of trained, licensed coaches to increase participation and get people fishing.
