Anglers national line recycling scheme
A UK wide volunteer led, donation funded scheme that promotes and recycles fishing line, plastic spools and other angling plastics. Since 2018 over 350 tackle shops, 165 fisheries and several wildlife related organisations have signed up and provided bins to allow anglers and the general public to safely dispose of angling plastics that would otherwise end up in landfill or even worse be left in our aquatic environments where it will impact upon wildlife. Always seeking support from the trade to expand the scheme and is truly “something the whole of angling can agree upon”

Angling projects
Angling Projects has gained an enviable reputation throughout the UK as being one of the best facilities for groups of young anglers in the country. This facility is open free of charge to groups of youngsters from the age of 8 years upwards. Groups from schools, youth clubs, scouts/guide groups, junior angling clubs, including children at risk and with special needs and disabilities.
ANGLING SPIRIT
Angling Spirit owns, organises and stages international events and environmental initiatives including the World Carp Classic, World Predator Classic and the new Sea Angling Classic. Its ethos is to promote angling in a responsible and sustainable manner.
ANGLING TIMES
Angling Times has been the UK’s best-selling angling weekly magazine and ultimate bankside companion since its launch in 1953. Each week the magazine is packed with top advice from leading columnists, the latest news from the world of angling, and detailed tackle reviews to help readers make informed decisions about the kit they buy. The brand also has a strong online presence across its website and social media channels allowing it to engage with audiences on a variety of platforms.

Barford lakes
Barford Lakes have a total of 11 lakes spread over 6 sites, catering for match, pleasure and carp anglers.
There is also a Tackle Shop, cafe and angling coaches to offer tuition. We also offer tackle hire and sell EA Rod Licenses. 2 main day tickets lakes with a starter lake ideal for anglers learning.
We also have a 30 peg match lake on site. We hold a Fish-O-Mania qualifier and can easily hold 130 peg matches over our various venues. Organised events through the year. We also run the popular Coston Carp Lakes and Mill Lake (Runhall).
