Vince Davies, creator of the well-established ‘The Big One’ fishing show has now launched a new Winter Carp show to be held at the well-known Sandown Park venue on December 2nd and 3rd 2023.
Slightly later that the old Carp Society winter show that traditionally ran at Sandown in mid-November, the new Winter Carp Show seeks to give trade a boost and provide a much-needed specialist angling event in the run up to Christmas.
Vince Davies and Stuart Berrie have teamed up to launch and run the new inter event. Their partnership brings together years of experience from both the angling and event building industries, experience needed to develop a regular event that has potential to be a regular annual feature.
The show will be situated in the same Surrey Hall as the original Carp Society event. Sandown Park is an award-winning venue that has benefitted from some extensive developments and additions in recent times.
From an attendance point of view, the venue is highly accessible and has ample free parking for exhibitors and a large number of visitors, reducing the barriers to attendance for many anglers.
ATA has negotiated a sizable 15% reduction in stand costs exclusively for members as it looks to build on the benefits negotiated at other shows such as The Game Fair. The Winter Carp show package also boasts guaranteed exhibitor parking near to the main hall, complimentary power and carpet if required and free tea and coffee to exhibitors on build up days as well as separate catering facilities for exhibitors during the open days.
Accommodation deals at local venues will be available to further minimise costs to exhibitors.
The new Winter Carp Show is set to be a highly interactive event including talks, demonstrations and tutorials throughout the weekend. Other visitor benefits including more reasonably priced food and beverages with a wider choice of offering to reduce attendance costs.
