Two more fantastic chances to Take a Friend Fishing for free have been announced to boost angling participation – and your businesses – once again and build on previous successes.
Take a Friend Fishing (TAFF) is an Angling Trades Association initiative run in conjunction with the Environment Agency and backed by the Angling Trust, Canal & River Trust and other angling bodies.
The two dates for this year’s events are Take a Friend Fishing Easter, running from Saturday, April 1st to Sunday, April 16th inclusive and Take a Friend Fishing with National Fishing Month, from Saturday, July 29th to Sunday, September 3rd.
TAFF continues to grow in 2023 with bigger campaigns, more weekends, and more opportunity for you to go fishing and create those long-lasting friendships and memories.
Existing rod licence holders can register for a FREE one-day fishing licence from the Environment Agency at www.takeafriendfishing.co.uk to take someone they know fishing.
If you are running an event, offering a product discount, free peg fee to the friend or similar TAFF promotion to encourage more anglers to your venue, TAFF wants to know so that it can your boost your promotion and business.
In return for your support, it will add your details to the new supporters’ page on the TAFF website which receives thousands of visitors and anglers who register each year while also promoting the new supporters page across its various social media sites throughout the year to drive even more attention to your business.
