How does sea fishing impact you and your community? We want to find out!

Substance are a leader in recreational sea angling research and data collection and are currently running a survey investigating the social and economic value of recreational sea angling in England and Wales.

The survey looks into the impact that fishing for fun has on physical activity, health and wellbeing, cost of living and local economy. Ultimately, it aims to understand the contribution that recreational sea angling can have on individuals and the wider coastal community. Research such as this will hopefully highlight the far-reaching impacts that fishing for fun can have.

The survey can be completed online and takes approximately 10 minutes to answer. It will also be open to collect responses for 12 months to get as many sea anglers as possible to contribute!
