A free online workshop helping fisheries avoid incidents at their sites this summer, is taking place on March 21st.
Entitled Incident Prevention Through Good Fisheries Management workshop is being organised in partnership between the Environment Agency and Institute of Fisheries Management.
Funded by rod licence income, the workshop will involve a series of applied sessions on the future challenges for freshwater fishery management.
Topics include developing more sustainable fisheries, preparing waters for long-term environmental change, and improving the resilience of our rivers.
Anyone with a responsibility for managing a club water or fishing venue is encouraged to attend.
