Boatworld, a consistent presence in the UK marine industry for over five decades, has become the latest company to join the ATA.

Specialising in the Small Inflatable Boat (SIB) sector, the company focuess on developing high-quality, portable craft that enable anglers to access waters, such as remote waterways, lochs and coastal areas, often inaccessible to larger vessels.

Its range is engineered for versatility, spanning from compact, lightweight setups for mobile solo angling to durable, high-performance platforms designed for offshore use.

Boatworld owner Nicola Middleton-Groom said: “Joining the Angling Trades Association is a significant step for Boatworld. We bring 50 years of marine engineering to the table but we recognise that the angling trade has its own unique set of demands.

“By joining the ATA, we can better integrate industry feedback directly into our development process. We are focused on evolving our range to ensure Boatworld remains the definitive choice for durable, portable fishing platforms in the UK.

“As we increase our presence in this sector, our priority is market-led innovation. We are actively engaging with the trade to ensure our product development remains aligned with the technical and durability requirements of the UK’s angling community.”

ATA chair Andrew Race added: “I am very happy to welcome Boat World into the ATA ranks, not only as a valued member in its own right, but also as the first visible step towards a closer relationship with the boating industry. “Many anglers are boat owners and there is much to be gained for both industries in working together. I look forward to working with Josephine and her team in the future.”
