Tackle retail giant Angling Direct is on the hunt once again for community projects it can support as part of its scheme to back fishing.
The Angling Direct Community Fund helps projects that make a real difference to anglers and local communities all over the UK.
In collaboration with AD Win, the fund has created a £20,000+ pot for 2026 to support ideas to improve access, upgrade fisheries and grow participation in the sport.
AD is looking for projects that can deliver a clear and lasting impact and is inviting angling clubs and fisheries to apply for funding across three key areas:
- Fishery improvement
- Wellbeing initiatives
- Grassroots participation projects
Applications are now open until May 31st with community voting taking place in-store between June and August. The winners will be announced in September 2026.
