With the aim of growing participation and encouraging more tackle sales, the Angling Trades Association is working along The Game Fairs in England, Scotland and Wales to produce an all-encompassing Get Into Fishing show.

The Get Into Fishing experience will run alongside The Game Fairs, delivering an audience of around 150,000 across the three events. Many of those will be existing or lapsed anglers but there will also be a SIGNIFICANT proportion who will be targeted to try fishing for the first time.

Unlike Game Fairs in the past, the Get Into Fishing experience will run across all disciplines (not just fly/game) and offer discounted stands with the opportunity to get your money back if you sell tickets.

Alongside this will be a comprehensive package of content, from have-a-go and tuition to speakers and demos, celebrity appearances, book signings and kids’ activities centred on our sport.
